What's A Nazarene?!?!?

A Nazarene, simply put, is someone who loves God and believes we should share this great love with others so that they might experience God's love in their lives.

Following are core our basic beliefs:

We believe in one God manifest threefold as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We accept the Old and New Testament Scriptures as the divinely inspired Word of God, and believe that they contain all the truth necessary to faith and Christian living.

We believe that man is born of a fallen nature, and is therefore inclined to evil and is lost.

We believe that God's plan of salvation through Jesus Christ is meant for the entire human race, and that anyone who believes and has faith in Jesus can be saved from their sins.

We believe after being saved, believers can have a second experience with Christ called sanctification, which basically means you decide to trust your whole life, and all aspects of your life, to Christ, and believe in His divine leading and direction.

We believe that Jesus will return, that the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.

Some other beliefs and practices of the church are:

We believe in water baptism, either by sprinkling or by immersion, as a sign to the world that the believer intends to live a changed life.  While we don't believe it necessary to salvation to be baptised, we do  believe that every believer should consider baptism.

We believe in taking Holy Communion/The Lord's Supper.  We observe an open communion, meaning you don't have to be a church member to participate; we only believe that you must be a saved believer in Jesus Christ.

We believe in divine healing, and pray for such in our services as needed.  We also believe that in addition to prayer for healing, people should feel free to seek whatever medical help they so desire for their healing as well.
